Introducing Texture...A New Basic

Happy Leap Year!

Today, ’m excited to share a new Riley Blake Designs basic with you. You’re going to love it.

Texture by the legendary Sandy Gervais features a tone-on-tone, sketched, irregular grid pattern and is perfect for just about every project. Seriously, I can’t think of one reason you wouldn’t want to create with this awesome new basic. It’s available in 30 amazing colors as well as pre-cuts. Yassss!

How cute is this clear-view tote I made (with a little help from Jack) using RBD basics, including Texture?

I used Rainbow Blossom on the back as well as Confetti Cotton in White for the background. That adorable foundation paper pieced rainbow block is a template from Quilty Pie.

You can make your own clear-view tote by watching Cindy’s video here. Trust me, they’re addicting!

I can’t wait to see what you make with Texture. Be sure to follow #rbdtexture as well as #texturefabric for projects and inspiration.
